It is with sadness that we learned of the recent passing of Master Yuji Yahiro (1951–2025). With him, one of the great Japanese sensei in Europe has left us.
Mr Yahiro founded Meiso Shiatsu by integrating natural laws and humanitarian principles into the therapeutic art of shiatsu, thereby developing a discipline of continuous study for thousands of participants and therapists from many countries around the world.
Master Yahiro was based in Italy, but he travelled extensively to create a global network of students, instructors and therapists who will carry on his legacy.
