For some time now, there has been a friendly collaboration between the Ryoho Shiatsu blog, the German Federation’s* Journal du Shiatsu* and the UK Shiatsu Society‘s *Shiatsu Journal*
Under the leadership of Ivan Bel, Anna Arndt and Dinah John, this has led to the creation of a group – simply titled ‘Shiatsu Media’ – dedicated to networking, exchange, and collaboration. The purpose of this association is to:
- Facilitate the exchange of information about Shiatsu across countries
- Share publications among media outlets, upon request, to maximise the impact of news and topics covered
- Work together on projects on an ad hoc basis (surveys, assessments, collaborative interviews etc.)
- Promote Shiatsu – in all its forms – demonstrating to both the public and practitioners the vitality of our field
Building on this core group, other media outlets around the world that cover Shiatsu (magazines, podcasts, YouTube channels, etc.) are all invited to join us, provided they are run by a team rather than a single individual and promote Shiatsu in an unbiased manner, encompassing all styles.
