Depression and burnout affect a growing number of people today: according to the WHO, more than 280 million people worldwide suffer from depression, and almost one in five European workers claim to have experienced an episode of severe overwork in the last two years. These realities spare no-one, and more and more recipients are arriving on the futon with signs of deep fatigue, loss of meaning or emotional collapse.
For a Shiatsu practitioner, knowing how to recognize these states, understand them and adapt his or her treatment has become essential. Shiatsu can offer invaluable support, but only if the practitioner masters the mind-body mechanisms involved and knows how to intervene within a safe, structured and respectful framework. That’s why this training course organized by the Kokaï school in Ostend has been designed to give practitioners clear, effective and immediately applicable tools to help their receivers in distress, while remaining within the framework of professional Shiatsu. This training course is a unique opportunity to deepen your skills, bring more accuracy to your practice and respond to one of the major challenges of our time.
