In the practice of Shiatsu, we constantly work with Ki: its movements, its blockages, its excesses and its deficiencies. But what happens when we go beyond, into the heart of the energetic experience, where the Void is revealed?
The Void (Xuli, the column of the Void) is not an absence, but a potentiality. Connected to the Stomach, this column tells us about the path of the Spirit (Shen) in the body. It is also the space from which transformation springs, where energy can circulate freely, reorganise itself and regain its natural balance. The place of all possibilities. Understanding and experiencing this dimension means opening up another depth of practice: a Shiatsu that is not limited to the symptom, but touches the root of being.
During this workshop, we will explore:
– Developing the hara to increase Ki
– The major principles in the use of Ki
– The global energy network
– The concept of Emptiness and its role in the dynamics of Ki
– Finding and understanding the Xuli points and their use
Concrete practices will be regularly proposed to integrate this subtle dimension with the help of a strong anchor.
This course is intended for professionals who wish to deepen their subtle approach to the body and Spirit (Shen). You will develop a quality of deep presence that will allow recipients to access a space of inner regeneration that is very useful in cases of therapeutic overload or to rediscover their life path.
About the teacher
Ivan Bel (founder of Ryoho Shiatsu) has been practising Shiatsu for over 26 years, as well as meditation and martial arts for over 40 years. On his journey along the Way of Shiatsu, he spent eight years searching for the meaning and reality of the column of Emptiness (Xuli), mentioned twice in Chinese medical texts. After experimenting on hundreds of patients, he began teaching this very special and profound technique for the Spirit and the individual.
He has thus developed a structured and effective energy approach that requires no prerequisites and, above all, is quick. His approach will allow you to see meridians and Ki in a simple and enjoyable way. Ivan Bel was the guest of honour at the Fisieo congress in 2025.
