A new event is about to take place in the world of Shiatsu: a world summit to be held in Poland in June 2027. The plan, developed by Mike Mandl and Chris McAlister, is to create unity across continents and connect the rich tradition that Shiatsu springs from with all of it’s myriad current and future manifestations. Poland, for its part, is one of the new countries where Shiatsu is emerging, and all of Eastern and Central Europe is pushing Shiatsu forward because of its enthusiasm. In addition, Poland has the oldest and largest Japanese center in Europe, which can accommodate a very large number of participants.
